Where?
Where are the boot camp classes held?

Answer: Classes are usually held in Patterson Park, but may also be held in other locations in the  Baltimore metropolitan area. 

 

What if I have injuries? 

Answer: Safety is priority with My Trainer Guy. If you have an injury, no matter how recent, I encourage you to speak with your physician to discuss any restrictions prior to starting any exercise program. Together, we can focus on your injury (if it needs rehabilitation) or we can work around the injury (if it should be avoided).

 

Do you provide meal plans?

Answer: Yes!  After your consultation, we can develop a meal plan that can support your health and fitness goals.

 

Do you offer in-home training?

Answer:  Yes. I provide in-home personal training, providing that the space we are using is safe and sufficient, however; because of the COVID-19 public health emergency, training will only be held outdoors.  This is consistent with the CDC Guidelines and the directive of the Baltimore City Mayor. 

 

Do you train couples?

Answer: Yes! I have several couples who train together. It's a great way to be healthy with your partner and provide camaraderie. 

 

How do I get started?

Answer:  Easy-just click on "Request a consultation". 

 

What is your specialty?

Answer: While I have several areas of focus, weight loss and strength training are the main specialties.

 

Is nutrition really that important?

Answer: Yes! Nutrition is key to any healthy lifestyle. Think of your body like a sports car-Would you buy a fancy sports car and fill it up with cheap gas?  You could, but it's not likely to perform very well. Your body is very similar.  

 

What qualifications do you have?

Answer: I am certified as a fitness instructor from the International Sports Sciences Association  (ISSA). I am also certified in Sports Nutrition by ISSA and I have 16 years of experience.

 

What age groups do you work with?

Answer: All age groups are welcomed!  I have worked with clients ranging in age from  15 to 88 and all have had varying fitness levels. I tailor all workouts to the individual.  My aim is to help you meet your goals, no matter your fitness level or age!
