You need to trust that the person you are going to knows you what you can do, what your limits are, what will help you heal, and what will make you stronger. Guy earned my trust the many years I trained with him pre-pregnancy. I know that all I have to do is show up, do my best, and he will take care of the rest. The results speak for themselves. Training with him during pre-pregnancy kept me strong so that I could recover quickly. By six months postpartum, I had regained strength in my abdomen after an emergency cesarean. By my son's first birthday, I was back to pre-pregnancy fitness and condition. I trust Guy and that has made all the difference.

I have been an athlete for most of my life. After my Division I collegiate racing days, I continued to scratch my competition itch as a runner and triathlete, participating in events up to “Iron” distance. Throughout a lifetime of fitness, I have been fortunate to work with excellent trainers. Guy ranks among the best when it comes to attention to the specific needs of the individual; he has a unique ability to refine a training session to how a client is responding in real-time, even in a group setting. Eight years ago I signed up for a "Personal Training Membership" at MV Fitness with no knowledge about the trainers. When I was paired with Guy, I had no idea that he would drive me to change my body and my life one training session at a time, leading me to lose a total of 40 + pounds. I gained muscle, lost fat, and built my endurance. Guy also helped me to change my diet by encouraging me to pay attention to my eating patterns and suggesting reasonable alternatives/replacement foods. Guy challenged and motivated me to work harder than I had ever done before, and he brought out the former athlete in me. One of the things I loved about training with him was how he taught me to incorporate strength training and HIIT into my routine, and that made a huge difference for me to lose weight and to build a more athletic-looking physique. Working out with Guy is never boring. He's a strong motivator, and has a varied repertoire, which keeps his clients guessing and sweating. I appreciate his work ethic, flexibility with scheduling, and love of mentoring. Guy does a great job of communicating with his clients about their goals, while objectively assessing their strengths and weaknesses to design challenging workouts. I think he is a great choice for any level…but beware, he will challenge you!
